The original Village Trattoria, home of the Buffalo Pie! Established in 1992, Angelo Vayas opened in downtown Maplewood aiming to provide great food at a good value, using only the freshest ingredients. Since then, a location in South Orange continued the experience to a neighboring town. Village Trattoria is rooted in Italian-style cooking and have evolved over time to include specialties from which they have been influenced.

The family-run eatery is fueled by a simple love of quality food and an immense love of community. During the 28 years of business, Village Trattoria has grown to be a part of Maplewood & South Orange and are appreciative of the ongoing support and loyal customers.
